I used to do these a lot more often but haven't for a while. I also have a bunch of unsold ones lying around that could use new homes.

This one is my housemate's idea. It's not sustainable for me to keep relying solely on commissions for income, so hopefully these will help.

There are a lot of old designs I've done that I think I could do a lot better now. Whether my own character or an adoptable, it'll be a fun exercise!

Because I've been so reliant on commissions, my personal work has been pretty heavily neglected. My OCs miss me :(

Part of my trouble with art the past few years is feeling like I'm stagnating. I need to start learning from others instead of trying to brute force it on my own.

I used to be an exclusively traditional artist, and frankly I just really miss it.​​

Since moving across the country, I haven't been able to get back into the con scene, and now all my inventory is outdated.

I feel like I'm finally starting to get the hang of digital painting, so I want to keep putting those skills to the test.

I've always struggled with time blindness, so holidays and monthly challenges usually sneak up on me and don't leave a lot of time to do art for them.

I actually do draw my OCs pretty frequently. The problem is they very seldom make it out of the sketchbook.

Like every other artist, I have dozens of unfinished WIPs gathering dust. Let's fix that this year.

I've rediscovered my paleontology special interest and want to do some proper paleo art. Might get published under a different name, though.

I've have had a couple people asking me to do one for years now, but I haven't wanted to take on more while I have an unfinished one waiting. Fixing that too.

I've always wanted to do a calendar, and it's a free excuse to do a bunch of portfolio-worthy pieces.

Sponsorships are something I want to lean into harder this year. The process needs some tweaking, but I want to have something to show for it by the end of the year.

I have a very complicated relationship with fanart, but I'm working hard to repair it. I need to learn that it's not lesser than any of my other art.

As I get older, my body is reminding me more frequently and less subtly that I do, in fact, require breaks.

These are really good at forcing me to meet deadlines, so I try to use them to finish pieces I want to do anyway.

I notice occasionally that I've fallen back into bad habits and take shortcuts. Gotta address that before it gets any worse.​

No such thing as too many excuses to stop neglecting my personal work ♥
